The user-interface can be complemented with the use of the following secondary elements that can be enabled through this menu:
• Station name: Enable this option to display a bar with the icon and name of the current working station right below the menus.
• Toolbar: Indicate if the toolbar will be displayed (either flatten or sharpen) and the items that will be present on it.
• Status bar: If enabled, a status bar will be displayed in the bottom of the window displaying useful information for selected events such as cluster duration,
• Alpha blend: Use it to set (though an alpha blend bar) the transparency of the Executive Editor window,
• Shortcuts: This function allows to set the access shortcuts to the various Executive Editor features. Select a function, assign a shortcut to it and press the [Apply] button.
• Arrange multiple schedules: This feature allows to arrange multiple Executive Editor instances open at the same time, positioning them within the screen in cascade (one over another), stacked (vertically aligned), side-by-side (horizontally aligned) or grid (symmetrically positioned).
• Clock: Enable this option to show a clock on the main schedule, the user will be allowed to freely position it on any place of the main window. Right-clicking on the clock, the user can access to additional functions.
• Remote control: Depending on the automation used for transmission, there will be displayed either:
- The Automation remote panel (default)
Note: The “Live” count would display the countdown if “Live” event is scheduled within next 4 hours time frame.
User must be granted with access rights to “Functions > Remote Control > Remote Control\Buttons” in Configuration’s Rights Management module in order to execute the Automation commands remotely.
- The Ad Insertion remote panel (visible until the airing mode in Ad Insertion module is set to "Ad Insertion stand-alone").
- The Radio Live remote panel (visible if the "Advanced Automation" parameter in Etere Configuration | Settings | Schedule parameters | Automation tab is enabled).
• Secondary Events: A dockable view of the secondary events that are linked to the selected event appears at the bottom of the main screen. You are also able to add secondary events using this window.
Refer to 84.2.4.0 Secondary Events chapter for more information.
• Timeline of Secondary Events: In conjunction with the Secondary Events function, this function displays the timeline of the secondary events loaded at the lower panel, indicating the start time and end time of each secondary event.
From the loaded secondary events windows, you can select the time range from the drop down list to zoom in secondary events loaded within specified time window. More detailed information would be available when click on any loaded secondary event.
Note: When the duration of secondary event ends, the logo would be removed from the schedule if the “Remove object after the given duration” in Secondary Object module in enabled.
• Macro Secondary Events: Allows to have a dockable view of the Macro Secondary Object window, further information regarding this window can be found in the chapter 84.2.4.26 Inserting secondary events - Macro Secondary Events.
• Group in cluster: Enable/Disable the clustering of events which have the 'Group in cluster' property enabled (Etere Configuration | Settings | Types | Properties).
• Live management: This tool allows to view the time remaining to the next event in the on-air schedule and, in case the current transmitting event is a "Live", to skip to a coming short commercial.

- Send 1 minispot: Skip the current live event to send the first short commercial.
- Send 2 minispots: Skip the current live event to send the first short commercial, and then skip also the next live to send the second short commercial.
• VTR for manual play: It adds a panel on the main window to broadcast directly from a VTR, this feature is normally used ONLY during an emergency on which automation(s) have failed:

• Video Assist: A powerful tool to go on-air manually, using a backup playlist based on digital media content. See chapters from 84.2.6.1 Video Assist - What is and what is it for? to 84.2.6.15 Video Assist - Automatic maintenance for detailed information.
• Event on air: Brings the schedule visualization to the event that is currently on-air.
• On-air event always on top: If enabled, the event currently on-air will be always shown as the first line on the schedule view.
Additionally, every time Etere Automation changes the television day (e.g. from Monday to Tuesday), Executive Editor will automatically load the related day to keep the on-air event always on top, ONLY if Executive Editor was open on the current television day (e.g. Monday).
Disable this option if you are modifying the playlist and intend to maintain the schedule view on the row where the modifications are made.
