Etere Configuration

59.11 License Update

When to launch this module?
The License Update module would be launched every time you add a new PC or a new channel to your network , and in general every time you make changes involving  the licence change. Moreover, this module would be launched if the Startup license check determines that the current loaded license is invalid, thus allowing the operator to load a valid license.

NB: From Etere released version 28.2 onwards, license file released from Singapore would have a “.licence” extension instead of “.sys” to avoid file transmission problem with antivirus.  The “.licence” file is backward compatible with the “.sys” file, if your application require the old version file simply rename the file extension from “.licence” to “.sys”.
NB: From Etere released version 29.2 onwards, the URL path and the license file name would not be visible during the update process.
