When Ad Insertion is started without Automation, it function as a main airing network with a set of dedicated parameters.
Parameters:
•Advanced Broadcast: This parameter is valid when managing the Main network in Automation mode. You can set the maximum advanced time (in seconds) with respect to the scheduled time of a cluster. It allows user from Executive Editor remote control to skip the Pass-through Video Feed in advance of "n" seconds.
•Timeout: Set the maximum timeout (in seconds) for the scheduled time of a cluster. When timeout occurred, the cluster would be put in “Play” mode or load the following cluster if the option “Automatic start when the delay expires” is enabled. This parameter is also valid when managing the Main network in Automation mode
•Automatic start when the delay expires: This option only valid for main network. If enabled, it put the cluster in “Play” mode or load the following cluster when the timeout occurred.
•Not notify the variables to Schedule: If enabled, notification from the main schedule would be ignored. Modification to schedule would not be accepted.
•Accept notifications from main to reload the cluster: If enabled, Ad Insertion would release the decoder (if unused) when notification is received from main schedule.
•Launch the restore WF of the on-air files: If enabled, Ad Insertion would automatically launch (interval of 30 seconds) the restore T_workflow to make clips scheduled on current day and next day available in video server.
Default Configuration
•Main: Provide the network IP address and port number used for the main network.
•Clone: When switch to Clone server, enter the network IP address and port number.
