69.2.1.23 FEDERATED SEARCH (import)

Import Scope 

The F90 Federated Search import ingests assets from external sites saved as XML files (via F90 Federated Search export) placed in a designated path. Etere F90 validates that all imported assets with externalid>0 are present in the etere.asset.Totals.txt reconciliation file; absent assets are removed from the database to maintain consistency.

Import Parameters

• Filename: Imports all files matching the template format (etere.asset.xxxxx.xml), containing asset properties including site and externalid.


• Import path: Folder where import files are stored.


• Import data: Configures the date range and frequency of imports.


• Asset code must be unique: When enabled, assets with a duplicate code are skipped.


• Source site number: Assigns a known source site number to all imported assets.

Note: Import errors can be reviewed and overridden under the Errors tab.This import doesn't require any configuration to be performed under the Etere Scheduling module.
