59.6.2.246 CTM scripts for Evertz devices

Preface

The protocol used by Evertz master controls (e.g. 3025EMC) for graphics is a Quartz extension of GVG M2100 protocol. For information on the creation of CTM scripts specific for the M2100 protocol refer to the M2100 Protocol Scripts section.

Creating and using scripts

Etere allows managing commands through the use of scripts which can be defined in the Configuration module under the Settings > Devices > Script Strings section:

Once defined, scripts can be saved as .CTM files to be used for transmitting commands. Commands (e.g. preview) can be added, for example, from the Scheduling module as secondary events attached to primary events:

During the playout of events, scripts will be sent to the automation for being performed.
