59.3.14.9 Manage Metafiles for MassTech systems

Etere is capable of interfacing MassTech systems, the communication between both systems is performed via ftp through a XML document containing the operation to be performed and the metafile involved in this operation.

The functions currently available by Etere for interfacing MassStore systems are listed below and subsequently explained throughout this chapter:

•Retrieve from MassTech (create a metafile pointing to a video file stored in a MassTech system),

•Delete from MassTech (remove a metafile that points to a video file stored in a Masstech system),
