The Etere Scheduled Ingest module provides a centralized view of all ingest activities, allowing users to monitor, filter, and manage scheduled and completed ingest operations.
Through this interface, users can quickly access different categories of ingest jobs and review their status and configuration.
Viewing Ingest Operations
To display ingest operations:
- Select the desired filter criteria
- Click the <View> button
The system will retrieve and display the corresponding records from the database.
Show Options
The SHOW section allows filtering ingest operations by type:
- Planned Single Ingests
Displays one-time ingest operations scheduled for a specific date and time, on a selected channel (1–10) or across all channels.
- Planned Periodical Ingests
Displays recurring ingest operations scheduled within a defined time window (e.g., weekly recordings on specific days).
- Planned Scheduled-Live Ingests
Displays ingest operations related to live events (e.g., sports events, concerts), scheduled on one or more channels.
- Completed Ingest Operations
Displays all completed ingest activities, regardless of type (single, periodical, or live), for selected channels.
Channel Filter
- Channel
Select a specific channel (from 1 to 10) or choose All to include every channel in the results.
Date Filter
It allows retrieving operations starting from the selected date onward.
Displayed Information
After clicking <View>, the system displays a list of ingest operations with the following details:
- Station
The workstation where the ingest operation is executed
- Date
Scheduled date of the ingest
- Time
Scheduled start time
- Duration
Total duration of the ingest operation
- Code
Code of the associated asset
- Description
Short description of the ingest operation
- Destination
Channel assigned to the ingest
- Status
Current status of the operation (planned, running, completed, etc.)
Managing Ingest Operations
From the results list, users can perform the following actions:
- Edit
Click the edit icon to modify the configuration of the selected ingest operation
(e.g., update parameters of a periodical or single recording)
- Delete
Click the delete icon to remove the scheduled ingest operation
Planning section from ETERE WEB
In Etere Web, the Planning section allows users to view all scheduled recordings associated with the selected channels.
Within this section, you can:
- Adjust the timeline duration using the HOURS field, extending or reducing the visible time range.
- Modify the number of channels displayed using the NUMBER OF CHANNELS TO SHOW field (only channels related to the selected context will be shown).
- Enable automatic timeline refresh every 15 seconds using the hourglass (Auto Refresh) button.
- Manually reload the data using the refresh button.
By scrolling the timeline to the left or right, you can view the boxes representing each scheduled recording. If the recording title does not fit within the box, it will be truncated and displayed with ellipsis (...); otherwise, the full title will be shown.
By right-clicking on a recording, you can access its details. From there, you can also open the edit section to modify the recording or delete the selected entry.
Summary
The Scheduled Ingest monitoring interface provides a complete overview of all ingest activities, with flexible filtering by type, channel, and date. It enables users to efficiently track, manage, and update scheduled recordings directly from a centralized web-based environment.
